Jeepers, Creepers ...

... where'd you get those peepers?

Thanks to Random Good Stuff for these very clever, and rather weird, cursor-following characters.

I couldn't incorporate them directly into the post, so you'll need to click on the images, I'm afraid.

Gone Today, Hair Tomorrow

People sometimes ask me why I've not had my hair cut for over seven years now.

Well, I have a cunning plan ...

Ear Ear !!

This is one way to make sure you never miss a call because you didn't hear your phone ringing.

However, I think he should be just a little worried about getting brain cancer ...strike that; I'm pretty sure he already has it!

Those Whacky Japanese

From Random Good Stuff comes this video of an absolutely bizarre Japanese game show.

The venue appears to be a library, which is even stranger. It just gets weirder and weirder as the game progresses.

911 Panties

Disposable panties for one night stands. Cute ad. I will say no more ...

Susan, Look Away Now!

This is a video of the "2007 Ugliest Dog Contest" held at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California.

It doesn't matter how hideous they are, you've still gotta love 'em!

The Prisoner

If you've never seen The Prisoner do yourself a favour and track it down. It was a great cult TV series from the late 60s, starring Patrick McGoohan.

One of the "characters" was a giant remote-controlled balloon the authorities used to capture would-be escapees. This video reminds me a lot of that.

Oh ... another fantastic McGoohan series was Danger Man.

Interesting Mailboxes

Via Random Good Stuff comes a
collection of strange mailboxes.

This cactus is my favourite, but there are plenty of other good ones.

Anyone For Steak?

I found this alien abduction lamp on Gizmodo.

I think it's excellent, but doubt I'd be happy to have it sitting in my lounge room for very long.

The cute factor would wear out pretty quickly ... unless it came with complementary Mulder and Scully dolls, of course :-).

World's Weirdest Art

Another great find by Dump Trumpet. Chinese artist Li Wei creates sculptures where the main materials are human beings (which always seem to include himself, by the look of it).

That's not the weird part. It's the environments and situations that are so bizarre.

The one pictured isn't the weirdest, either!

The Weirdest Website I've Ever Seen

I found this via Dump Trumpet. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the strangest site I have ever seen.

Just go and have a look for yourself at the ...

Bad Hair Day

Looking at these hairstyles on Damn Cool Pics, I can't help but think that hair is wasted on some people.

Admittedly, some of them are quite cute, or clever, but most are just downright silly!

Whoa!

Via Spluch comes news of a swing that's been set up at the top of an 1100 foot television tower in China.

I was glad to note that the swinger is tethered. It would be rather a nasty end to the fun if you slipped off!

Morse Blog

No, I'm not talking about my favourite detective, pictured to the right.

I'm referring to this blog, the content of which is written entirely in Morse code.

Do yourself a favour and check out the real Morse. There's a nice fan site here.

I have the entire series on DVD, if you're interested :-).

Pressing Concerns

I'm pretty sure this is the silliest thing I've ever seen.

Via Damn Cool Pics comes Extreme Ironing.

If you can top this for pointlessness, I reckon you should write a book!

It was truly hard to choose an image to accompany this post, but I think this one wins, don't you?

Weird, But Impressive

Via Random Good Stuff comes this art gallery where the pieces are made from spools of cotton thread.

In general, they are best viewed through a glass sphere, which contracts the spools so that they are more like pixels.

Packed Lunch

Via Dump Trumpet I found these amazing food-inspired bags.

When is lunch?!

The Turd Twister

What can I say? ... Go check out the product page.

The best quote from the advertisement is "... 10 laugh-inspiring, dishwasher-safe Turd Twisters, and that's just the beginning!"

Dishwasher safe?! Ick!

No, No, No. You've Got It Wrong Officer ...

... I wasn't trying to fondle this woman's breasts.

I was just trying to pop the bubble wrap!

This Art Is Shit

Well, it really is shit.

The Sprinkle Brigade augments animal droppings they find on the street to make tiny works of art.

While most of them are pretty ... um ... crappy, there's the occasional treasure.
