It's a while since I checked out Clinton Forbes' blog, but I'm glad I did today.

This post was quite amusing.

As I've said before, to many people, I have had absolutely no inclination to upgrade to any version of Vista. It seems to me that it's all flash and no substance.

Well, this article shows that even the flash isn't all it's cracked up to be!

More Vista Schmista

Vista has this nice feature that backs up your files on the fly, as changes are made, generating "previous versions".

However, according to this article on Gizmodo, if you want to get them back when disaster strikes, you can't ... unless you've anted up for the Business, Enterprise or Ultimate editions.

 

 

Of course, you can retrieve them ... if you upgrade!

Via Boing Boing, I found this page, which provides stickers containing a pop-up dialog with the message, that one can print out and affix to M$'s annoying bus-shelter ads.

I'd love to see one of these on every Vista ad in Sydney :-).
