Well, the announcements have been coming thick and fast from CES. However, this is the first that's tickled my fancy.Casio have announced this EX-V7, ultra-slim, compact digital camera. It's a 7.2 megapixel shooter, with ... wait for it ... 7X optical zoom, with the lenses being inside the body of the camera.
That answers my only complaint about my current Sony DSC-T9, which is limited to 3X optical.
Fortunately, the EX-V7 also has image stabilisation, otherwise that high level zoom would likely produce some pretty blurry pictures!
