Merlin Mann mentioned a simple, but clever idea on his 43 Folders blog recently.
The algorithm goes like this ...
- Go to your wardrobe and turn all of the hangers so that they face in the opposite direction to whatever you consider normal;
- Whenever you re-hang something you've just worn, turn its hanger the right way around;
- In, say, six months' time, any item whose hanger is still the wrong way around, you can probably give to a charity of your choice.
