"Helvetica" The Film

South By Southwest is an interactive music and film festival held in Austin, Texas each year.

This time around, one of the films on offer was Helvetica, a feature-length documentary about "typography, graphic design and global visual culture". Helvetica is 50 years old this year, hence the celebration.

The film is an exploration of urban spaces in major cities and the type that inhabits them, and a fluid discussion with renowned designers about their work, the creative process, and the choices and aesthetics behind their use of type.
