According to this article, some scientists in Toronto have discovered a link between the central nervous system and diabetes (both type one and type two)."Diabetic mice became healthy virtually overnight after researchers injected a substance to counteract the effect of malfunctioning pain neurons in the pancreas."
Hopefully, the poor, emaciated bastard on the left won't need to inject himself with insulin a couple of times a day for much longer!
